Allied Universal in Orlando, FL is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer to patrol airport terminals, deter incidents, and assist travelers and staff with professional customer service.

You will work a set daytime schedule with an hourly pay rate of $18.47, and have access to the Claim a Shift platform to view additional shifts, with opportunities for training and career growth within a collaborative team.

Formación

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigations per laws.
• Drug screen per law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or other stakeholders while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, parking areas, access points, roadways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report access‑control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, requesting additional assistance as appropriate.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
