Allied Universal in Auburn, WA is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide reliable coverage at a designated site. This flexible position supports earnings through anchor shifts and pickup opportunities, with a base of shifts designed for part-time schedules and potential progression toward full-time.

You will deliver customer service, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, respond calmly to incidents, and complete accurate reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to store personnel or Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, monitor designated areas, and complete accurate activity and incident reports.

As a Security Guard Part Time Patrol Access Verification in Auburn, WA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail store, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate store personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, monitor designated areas, and complete accurate activity and incident reports in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
