Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard - Part Time - Overnights in Coralville, IA. You will safeguard clients across Tech/Media/Telecom facilities and provide excellent customer service while patrolling and monitoring access points.

As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology, media, and telecommunications facilities, including building interiors, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintaining professional communications and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
