As an Access Control professional at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and assisting visitors and employees with professionalism. You will provide visible presence, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with site personnel. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Control access for vehicles, personnel, and deliveries entering restricted areas, escalating unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including access-control alarms, medical events, and facility-related emergencies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience (preferred)
• Have supervisory experience. (preferred)
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
