Qualifications

• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing rules vary by state/local law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures, assist with directions and maintain a professional presence.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and activity reports as required.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist visitors, patients, and staff with professionalism and care. Using computer or tablet systems as needed, you will provide outstanding communication and customer service while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and maintaining a professional presence.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities according to Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
