Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver in Oxford, NC. You will perform unarmed patrols at a healthcare facility, provide customer service, and support patients, staff, and visitors. A valid driver’s license is required to drive on site.

• Prepare clear, accurate incident and patrol reports and communicate findings to leadership.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with directions and reporting unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
