Allied Universal in Allentown is seeking a Part Time Security Guard Fire Watch to protect clients across commercial real estate, tech, and telecom sites. This role offers flexible scheduling and a path to broader opportunities through our Claim a Shift platform to earn more.

You will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, deter incidents with a visible presence, provide professional service to visitors and staff, and document activities with accurate reports for site personnel.

Qualificações

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background check and drug screen are required.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer supporting commercial real estate and technology, media, and telecommunications locations, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and site personnel while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial real estate and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements; provide directions and assist with authorized entry processes.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications, and promptly report maintenance, access, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
