Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard at our Ironton, OH location. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service at an industrial site, working Sat and Sun night shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following reporting procedures.
• Observe and report security concerns, equipment issues, hazards, and policy violations to management.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.47 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at an industrial manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site procedures; maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, equipment issues, hazards, and policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
