Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace/defense location by following site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to identify security issues and report them.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization per site policies; maintain logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and promptly, notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate patrol and incident reports for records.

Pay Rate: $21.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM
• Sun 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization in accordance with site policies, maintaining accurate logs and records as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations promptly to appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
