Allied Universal in Moorestown, NJ seeks a Security Officer with Active Clearance for full-time patrol operations at an aerospace/defense site. You will monitor access, maintain a visible security presence, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent service to personnel.

A DoD Secret clearance is required, with CPR/First Aid preferred, and a high school diploma. This role includes day/evening shifts and a competitive hourly pay rate.

Job Description

As a Security Officer with Active Clearance Full Time Patrol Compliance in MOORESTOWN, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and notifications to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol findings, access-control activity, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
