Allied Universal in Moorestown, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) with a DoD Secret clearance. You will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include verifying credentials, responding to alarms, documenting activities, and communicating observations to site leadership.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.
• Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, business operations, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.36 / Hour

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
