Job summary

Allied Universal in Montgomery, Alabama is hiring part-time Security Guards at a large automotive manufacturing site. Starting base pay is $16.75 per hour. Valid driver’s license required for driving positions; background checks and drug screening will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.

Roles include safeguarding clients across industries, performing patrols, and responding calmly to incidents. Workdays include all days with shifts 1:15 PM - 9:45 PM and 9:15 PM - 5:45 AM.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by enforcing safety and security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; environments may vary by client site.

Now Hiring Part-Time Security Guards for a large Automotive Manufacturing Site

Site Location: Montgomery, Alabama

Starting Base Pay: $16.75 / hour

Must have a valid drivers license with a clean motor vehicle record to qualify.

Workdays Available: All Workdays Available

Shifts Available:

• 1:15 PM - 9:45 PM
• 9:15 PM - 5:45 AM

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universalwill consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
