• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Maintain armed post qualifications and complete incident reports per site procedures.

You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, restricted areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to controlled areas, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, unauthorized entry attempts, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications, follow applicable laws and site procedures for assigned equipment, and complete accurate activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
