Earn $17.51 per hour with fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts. Applicants must be 18+ (21+ for armed), hold a high school diploma, and pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.

• Operate access-control systems and maintain records of entries, exits, and visitor activity.
• Respond to access-control incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Operations in Moon Township, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, authorizations, and visitor documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Operate access‑control systems and maintain accurate records of entries, exits, denied‑access attempts, and visitor activity.
• Respond to access‑control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, terminal areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
