Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Administration in Waynesboro, PA to provide reliable, flexible coverage at a designated site with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

You’ll perform access control, badge management, and visitor screening while delivering courteous customer service to employees and guests. A high school diploma and background check are required; driver’s license if applicable, with paid training and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization, issue and collect access credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production, warehouse, office, and perimeter areas to identify and report security-related concerns or unusual activity.
• Support the orderly movement of deliveries and personnel at a food and beverage location following site procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Administration in Waynesboro, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon – 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri – 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization, issue and collect access credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production, warehouse, office, and perimeter areas to identify and report security‑related concerns, unauthorized access, or unusual activity.
• Support the orderly movement of deliveries and personnel at a food and beverage location while following applicable site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
