As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Computer Operations in Lancaster, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will support a professional environment through clear communication, routine documentation, and teamwork while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.79 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:0pm

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, utility spaces, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and report unusual activity or unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
