Allied Universal, the leading security and facility services company in North America, is seeking a Security Officer Driver Patrol Vehicle Stewardship in Columbus, OH. You will patrol unarmed, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service at a technology data center.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the data center campus, building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with maintaining controlled entry to restricted areas.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
