Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Manufacturer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Elkton, MD. Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements must include a valid driver’s license and customer service experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Guard card/license are preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, maintaining incident records.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership about incidents and site changes.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate records of incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, policy concerns, and changing site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
