Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility grounds, loading areas, parking areas, and access points to identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access by verifying visitor and contractor authorization and documenting arrivals and departures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and solve problems, including unauthorized access, traffic, or weather-related events.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols and incidents and share information with site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As a Security Guard Logistics Facility in Henderson, CO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.49 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution facility grounds, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and documenting arrivals and departures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations involving unauthorized access, vehicle traffic, package handling areas, and/or medical or weather-related events.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities; communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
