As a Security Officer Logistics Facilityin Aurora, CO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.72 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.


• Verify authorized access for personnel, delivery drivers, contractors, and visitors; check credentials and/or shipping‑related documentation in accordance with site procedures.


• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and restricted areas; help to deter unauthorized access and report irregular activity.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the business perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• X‑ray screening experience is preferred.


• Alarm panel experience is preferred.


• Loss prevention experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s licence will be required for driving positions only.
