Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Security Guard Lead to safeguard personnel, property, and assets while providing leadership to the Security Department. This role monitors plant activity, oversees facility access, performs routine security inspections, and maintains security logs across 2nd/3rd shifts with occasional 1st shift coverage.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, ability to read/write/speak English, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant activity to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Conduct hourly patrols and security rounds, including checking temperatures and facility access points.
• Maintain accurate security logs, reports, and facility records.
• Serve as lead for security personnel and cover Security Supervisor responsibilities when needed.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies and communicate with management.
