Qualifications

• Fluent Spanish speaking, reading and writing required.
• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Pay Rate: $18.26 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while communicating with appropriate hospital personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with healthcare facility policies, providing directions and assistance while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Fluent Spanish speaking, reading, and writing skills are required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
