Allied Universal in Ventura, CA is seeking a Security Guard Healthcare to protect patients, visitors and staff at a hospital setting. You will perform unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond calmly to incidents while following site procedures.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Willing to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Valid driver’s license as per policy requirements.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local law.

Responsibilities

As a Security Guard Healthcare in Ventura, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying visitor credentials when required, and directing patients and visitors to appropriate hospital areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Must be willing to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
