Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Visitor Authorization Driver in West Memphis, AR. You will manage access control, verify credentials, issue visitor badges, and support a safe, welcoming site environment while driving as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license, customer service experience, access control and badge experience, and comfort with using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles, per site policies.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment, in compliance with laws.
• Licensing requirements may apply per local/state regulations.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, registering visitors, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Observe access points, loading areas, and other designated locations for unusual activity, and report concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated business areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
