Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed at Hopewell Junction, NY. You will patrol the site, monitor access points, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors in a technology-focused environment.

This role emphasizes a visible security presence, reporting of observations, and calm response to alarms following established procedures. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for employees and authorized guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Property Security in Hopewell Junction, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and assist visitors and employees with professional communication and customer service. This role offers the opportunity to use your computer or tablet skills while working with an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.73 - $19.73 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
