Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, has a full-time Unarmed Patrol Guard position in Atlanta, GA. You will monitor a residential community, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible presence to deter threats. Position Type: Full Time.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour. Schedule includes several evening and weekend shifts, with duties including routine rounds, reports, and incident response.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and promptly, and report concerns to appropriate personnel.

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
