Allied Universal in New Orleans, LA, is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Site Inspections to protect clients in a busy retail setting. You will perform regular patrols, monitor entry points, and provide excellent customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma; background checks and drug testing are conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.

• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors and parking areas.
• Monitor for unauthorized access, property loss, disturbances, and hazards; report observations per site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence.

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Site Inspections in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and uphold Allied Universal’s values through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entry and exit points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for security-related concerns such as unauthorized access, property loss, disturbances, and/or hazards, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
