Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Atlanta, GA. You will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to clients in Tech/Media/Telecom environments.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, at least one year of security experience, and compliance with background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular patrols of business areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity.
• Monitor entrances/exits and visitor activity; verify authorized access and report issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following established protocols and contact emergency services as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and shift handoffs to leadership and client representatives.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of business areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; verify authorized access and report access-control issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services and/or site contacts as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs; communicate observations and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
