Job summary

Allied Universal in Irving, TX is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Assessment to protect financial institutions and other sites. You will patrol, monitor access points, respond to alarms, and provide exceptional customer service while representing Alliance Universal’s people-first culture.

The role features a full-time daytime schedule, an hourly pay rate of $19.00, and opportunities for training and advancement within a large national security organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• 18+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing as required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs per site requirements.

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Assessment in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms or concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts and security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
