Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems.
• Experience with alarm panels.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background check required.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor authorization as required, and assist with directing guests to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations according to site policy.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate professionally with site contacts and responding public service personnel, and help support a professional environment.

What You'll Do:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
