Allied Universal in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Security Guard (Full Time Unarmed Patrol). You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, collaboration areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, or facility issues.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, verifying credentials and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic workplace environment.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
