Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed - Healthcarein Greer, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff activity; report suspicious conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
