• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories per laws.
• As a condition of employment, a drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Unarmed in Seneca, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping create a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner while following facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report access‑control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
