Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Access Control Patrol in Miami, FL. Help safeguard clients across commercial real estate and deter incidents through visible presence and strong customer service. You will monitor access, patrol assigned areas, and document activities using our technology.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour. Schedule spans several night shifts from Sunday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license needed for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and authorized personnel by following security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols across the property, including common areas and entrances.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations and actions per site procedures.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarm activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the commercial property, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations, incidents, and actions taken in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
