Allied Universal in Weehawken, NJ is seeking a Security Guard (Full Time Unarmed) to safeguard clients across retail and facilities. You will monitor locations, deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding company policies.

This position offers $19.00 per hour with evening shifts 4:00 PM–10:00 PM. Candidates must be 18+, hold a HS diploma, and be willing to undergo background checks and drug testing.

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Presence in Weehawken, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and delivery areas; verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
