As a Security Guard Full Time Screening Check in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening individuals and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting smooth operations. Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and permitted items entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor entry points, package handling areas, and surrounding activity; report suspicious behavior, prohibited items, and policy violations to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, perimeter, loading areas, and parking locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
