Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen individuals, packages, and personal items at designated entry points in accordance with established procedures for a logistics and distribution location.
• Verify identification, access credentials, and authorization for personnel and visitors entering restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; report observations and complete required documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Full Time Security Screening in Martinsburg, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will maintain a professional presence, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with team members and site contacts. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.41 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
