Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Roving Exterior Patrol in Wentworth, NC to protect government locations and the public. You will monitor, patrol, and deter incidents while providing professional customer service and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity; report access concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; follow site procedures and contact emergency services and/or supervisors as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions.

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. • Tue: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Wed: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thur: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with established procedures; report access concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting emergency services and/or supervisors as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
