Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Route Accountability in Staten Island, NY to monitor and safeguard government locations, provide customer service, and deter incidents with a visible security presence.

Schedule is full-time with Day shift. Pay ranges from $17.87 to $18.87 per hour. You will respond to incidents, patrol, verify entry, and document activities for leadership and site representatives.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and disturbances; notify site contacts and emergency services.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and direct visitors to service areas.
• Document patrols and incidents with clear, accurate reports to leadership.

As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Route Accountability in Staten Island, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a welcoming environment while reporting observations and responding to concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government office location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures and direct visitors to appropriate service areas.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activities through clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
