As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Emergency Preparedness in Chesapeake, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology-focused location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established site communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, facility concerns, or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for personnel and guests.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports related to incidents, patrol observations, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
