Job summary

Allied Universal in Milpitas, CA is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Customer Care to serve tenants and visitors at a commercial real estate location. You will conduct unarmed patrols, deter incidents, and provide friendly, professional customer service.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to complete logs and reports. Training, background check, and drug screen are part of the process; CPR/First Aid are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements; report suspicious activity, property damage, and maintenance concerns.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Customer Care in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and provide outstanding customer service. Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
