Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting in San Jose, CA to protect clients across commercial real estate locations.

Qualifications

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors while reporting concerns and responding to situations with professionalism. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and help maintain an orderly environment in accordance with property policies.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and promptly in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
