Job summary

Allied Universal in Monroe, NC is hiring a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Driver to safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. As an unarmed patrol officer, you will perform regular security rounds, deter incidents, and provide excellent service while maintaining a visible presence.

This full-time role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to work a consistent night shift schedule, and a commitment to safety, customer service, and reporting incidents promptly to site

Qualifications

• A valid drivers license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required incident reports.
• Observe and report potential hazards, damaged property, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do
