As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Salisbury, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will interact professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner, following site specific protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized entry, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting relevant information in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating observations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
