Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Driver Patrol) in Monroe, NC. You will serve and safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial settings, patrolling assigned areas, deterring incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work a rotating day/evening schedule.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors, and maintaining accurate visitor and vehicle records as required.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in clear, timely reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
