Job summary

Allied Universal in Monroe, NC is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer to monitor and protect manufacturing and industrial locations. You will provide customer service, enforce site policies, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible security presence.

This role requires a valid driver's license, being at least 18, and a high school diploma or equivalent. The schedule includes weekend shifts, with pay rate of $19.47 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous conditions, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Job Schedule: Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
