Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Day Shift at a corporate building in New York, NY. You will patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents, and provide exceptional service to tenants and visitors.

Qualifications

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Day Shift Corporate Building Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, building entrances, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while supporting a professional environment for all occupants and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
