Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Guard for a corporate building patrol in New York, NY. You will monitor and protect tenants, visitors, and staff, while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment.

You can set a flexible schedule with the Claim a Shift platform and contribute to a safe, professional atmosphere across commercial real estate sites. This role requires 18+ years old (21+ for armed roles), a high school diploma, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to support an orderly environment for tenants and guests.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation, and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
