Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Entry Desk Operations in Chicago, IL. You will serve tenants and visitors at a high-traffic front desk, manage access, monitor lobby activity, and coordinate with building management and responders to maintain a secure, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and building staff at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, manage visitor access records, and direct guests to appropriate areas within the building.
• Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, cameras, and communication equipment; report unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with building management and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and support a professional, welcoming lobby environment.
