Job summary

Allied Universal in Oxon Hill, MD is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Bank Patrol to safeguard clients in a financial institution setting. As an unarmed patrol officer, you will monitor areas, deter incidents, and provide professional service to employees and visitors during Day Time shifts.

The role requires at least two years of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license for driving positions. CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within and around the location, and report suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entryways, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol records in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:
